Meeting for Higher Education Institutions on Institutional Response to COVID 19

The global outbreak of COVID 19 has created a major disruption in education, training and skills development worldover. Eswatini was not spared as institutions were forced to suspend their operations from time to time owing to lockdown and staying-at-home strategies. In response, many institutions shifted from the brick & mortar approach to blended and online learning.

ESHEC organised an experience sharing workshop on good teaching and learning practices in response to COVID 19. This workshop was held on the 19th May 2021 at the Royal Villas where two local institutions, Southern African Nazarene University (SANU) and the University of Eswatini (UNESWA)  shared their experiences, followed by an interesting convesation on the subject.

Two virtual presentations on good teaching and learning practices were shared by Prof Romeela Mohee from the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) Mauritius and Dr Malik from the Commonwealth of Learning. The participants appreciated the presentations and the insightful experiences shared.
